Bursting!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We have decided not to tell anyone until after the third month… And I am still not telling anyone in the community, or even my family (his and my sides)… But, well… I am bursting!LOL I mean I waited like an entire week to spill!!!

Masha’Allah, Masha’Allah. Masha’Allah. Please keep us and our fourth (insha’Allah) bundle in your dua;)

Wonderful news, masha'Allah. And what a time to burst too!

Maybe you should start playing Qur'an recitations on tape/CD as the weeks & months pass by. Intuition tells me that would do wonders to our upcoming 'baby boomer' Muslim generation :)

May Al-Kareem bless & bestow much on the soul that grows and is nourished within you. And make du'a that we follow in your stead.

Congrats, and may Allah make your pregnancy easy on you inshaAllah. Are you still going to fast though? What are your ideas on fasting and pregnancy? I have written an article about it on my website. let me know what you think.

You'd better hope no one you know happens upon your blog! :-) Congratulations though! I pray that everything goes well, and I look forward to even better news several months from now, when the baby's born.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts! I am sooo excited, masha'allah. A little overwhelmed but excited!LOL

UmmIbrahim:
I checked out your advice on fasting, and am with you 100%. I am not fasting right now, because the first trimester is such a critical time for development. And for all things that might be a strain on your health I think the second trimester, extended all the way to the 7th month is a safe time. I feel the best during the 4th-7th month... And I might consider fasting Ramadan then.

And as for BFing, well... Some women can fast just fine and some can't. The inevitable thing if you do is fatigue. That said, I have done it... But like you said, never with a very young baby and I was sooo ready to be back to normal once the month was over!LOL

That makes sense not to risk it during the first trimester when the main parts are getting formed. A friend of mine fasted in her first trimester and then she began to bleed so she stopped fasting.

Thanks, It's good to know that my article is reliable. I think i need to add my own personal experiences with this issue and those of my friends too, inshaAllah.
