Not that I normaly post videos....
This video (Stupid Girl by Pink) is great. But be warned it has some skin shots, and of course it is a video... But this is one of those that I thought was really GREAT.
asalaam alaikum warahmat Allah, i was surprised to see that video. it makes a point that women without faith are always trying to be accepted in ways that are unacceptable to God. although a good point, it brings attention to fitna and i doubt anyone can acheive hassanat by viewing it because it shows lots of skin..! maybe it would be best infront of Allah for you to describe it rather than have it accessible for others to see. Please don't be offended. By the way, I havr just started reading your blog, thanks for sharing. JazakAllah Kheir, Suhaa
Insha'Allah her message will get through to those girls who are in danger of falling victim to the de-valuing of women in modern society. Maybe it's not the way a Muslim would've said it, but Pink speaks the language of these young women.
I am a mother to four wonderful kids and the wife to one wonderful Egyptian! We live in a small town in the Midwest and work in our small businesses. I am also a Waldorf preschool teacher and childcare provider, a backyard chicken lady, a part time homeschooler, and a generally crunchy mama (think hijabi in birks).
