happy eid to you & yours. that is an awesome photo!
Eid Mubarak! What is petit four? Also, how do you cook your duck? Mashallah that you can get so much cooking done with 4 kiddos. Food-wise, this eid for us consists of 2 words: 'Pizza' and 'Hut' lol.
Buck tends to be a little fatty for my tastes. I prefer chicken and turkey, myself.
lol @ pizza hut
TEW, I'm curious how often y'all eat "non-arabic" food (if there is such a thing, but you understand what I mean) like mexican, greek, italian, thai, indian and such.
La-La Po, petit four is just little cakes... Like bite size. Very yummy, but I prefer to buy them if I can cause they are a pain in the rear to make. And the cooking, no real feat I just do a little every day and store things in the fridge to cook that morning. The duck, well that's easy I put an onion in the cavity rub some spices on it and prick little holes in the skin to let the fat drain then I throw it in the rottiserri.
Romerican, all the time. I do think my husband prefers Egyptian food... But we want the kids to try all sorts of things, so we cook a wide variety. I think we have our family favorites from all over... I even make sushi;) Oh, and I agree about duck. It's a DH special request.
I am a mother to four wonderful kids and the wife to one wonderful Egyptian! We live in a small town in the Midwest and work in our small businesses. I am also a Waldorf preschool teacher and childcare provider, a backyard chicken lady, a part time homeschooler, and a generally crunchy mama (think hijabi in birks).
