The thoughts of an American Muslim and mother of four raising her children in small town USA with her Egyptian husband.

This is where I grew up. So if you wonder why I just feel like a square peg in a round hole here in Wyoming... It's a far cry from Cairo, but I'm not going to claim that I understand for a second why my husband has adapted better than me!LOL
That is so funny. I say the same thing about my husband. He's from Lebanon and I was born here. He's adapted better then I will ever. I'm like, lets move back there LOL! He thinks I'm nuts because I was born here. Odd.
I am a mother to four wonderful kids and the wife to one wonderful Egyptian! We live in a small town in the Midwest and work in our small businesses. I am also a Waldorf preschool teacher and childcare provider, a backyard chicken lady, a part time homeschooler, and a generally crunchy mama (think hijabi in birks).
