You MUST watch this!!!
So yesterday I woke up to watch the news with DH and we saw Fox (of course) talking about the "radical" Muslim campaign to "recruit" people via subway ads. Naturally, I had to get to the bottom of it. This is what I found, and if you have money to support it I think you should, insha'Allah. It starts during Ramadan, insha'Allah.

OK, that is just crazy! Use for recruitment... no I don't think so. Sorry I'm getting a bit nuts over here but I'm giving this from a conservative Christian view point LOL!
Honestly when I look at this that is not what comes to mind for me. I see it as they are taking the opportunity during their spiritual holiday to educated us (the non-Islamic community) about the religion of Islam. They are giving you the resources to learn more if you are not aware of the religion.
On this site it says, "to clarify many of the misconceptions about Islam" and I think that's great to use the media to spread knowledge and tolerance of others.
Other religions use these avenues as well so it's not the first time.
The media is going to make a big deal out of everything that seems out of the mainstream to them. I'm just happy to see the Islamic community doing something that is positive. Any community who what's to educate others via media has every right to... I think it's great!
I am a mother to four wonderful kids and the wife to one wonderful Egyptian! We live in a small town in the Midwest and work in our small businesses. I am also a Waldorf preschool teacher and childcare provider, a backyard chicken lady, a part time homeschooler, and a generally crunchy mama (think hijabi in birks).
