a couple of pictures to share...

Just wanted to share the day in pictures...

This one is my youngest standing in front of the washer crying as she ponders the fate of her blankie rolling around in the washer.

This is some one evening mittens that I made knitting with two needles... I was inspired by Surviving's craft blog to make some wool mittens for the kids and I found out they were quicker than I ever imagined! I found the pattern on
THIS SITE. I'm making a set for every kid, insha'Allah.

MashaAllah, I used to know how to knit, but it's been a looong time. event then all I could make was scarfs. I love the mittens, they are adorable.

hey ... you're getting too crafty! stop! j/k LOL :) but i resolved to learn to sew this summer, inshaAllah. Those mittens are nice mashaAllah, just stay clear of velcro - and snow for that matter :) Salams...

Mona, You should get a book and pick it up again! I swear it's theraputic;)

Mona UI, Insha'Allah the sewing goes well. Sewing is my first love... I just bought a little hello Kitty machiene for DD... It was marked bown to $40 from $130 (last one) and I couldn't resist!

And the snow... I knitted all my diaper covers for the baby and learned the fine art of lanalising wool which makes it water- repellent;)
